We Don't Sell Cheap Leather Motorcycle Chaps
The hides used for our naked leather chaps undergo a special, different, and more expensive process to create ultra soft, supple, more highly sought after leather. Our chaps are carefully sewn with rot-proof nylon stitching, and are designed for ultimate comfort, function, style, and rugged long-term use. All of the hardware and zippers used in our chaps are heavy duty stainless steel or antique brass for a lifetime of wear. The quality and construction of our chaps are guaranteed!
Motorcycle Chaps That Adjust To Your Body Style And Shape
All of our motorcycle chaps are 33" long to allow you to cut or hem them to fit, and most people just use a sharp pair of scissors to shorten them to the desired length - be sure to measure the chaps with your boots on or they'll end up too short when you cut them! Of course, the length can be made longer or shorter just by changing how high you wear them at waist area. In addition, these chaps are crafted with a belt in the front and a laced back-panel that can be tightened or expanded to accommodate a wide range of waist sizes. If your chaps fit great except the waist is a little too small even with the expanded back, get a few more inches of flexibility in the waist by ordering a "Chap Extender" - and have the perfect fit!
We'll Make Sure You're Happy With Your Motorcycle Chaps!
If you order and receive our motorcycle chaps and they don't fit like they should or aren't the look you hoped they would be - no worries! We'll help you get the correct size and make sure you're happy with the fit and style of your motorcycle clothing or we'll gladly refund your money! We guarantee your satisfaction!!
Why Is The Weight Of Leather Important When Choosing Motorcycle Chaps?
It has to do with thickness, durability, and protection. The types of hide used in manufacturing leather motorcycle chaps are available in different weights. You will notice that all of our leather product descriptions have a notation about leather weight. In the leather industry, leather thickness is typically specified in terms of weight. Every ounce of weight is equivalent to 1/64 inch thickness. The weight of leather is determined by the number of ounces that one square foot of leather weighs. For example, if a square foot of leather weighs four ounces, it is called 4 oz leather. 4 oz leather is approximately 1/16 inch or 1.6 mm thick. The weights we list for our leather motorcycle chaps translate to a particular thickness of leather. A heavier weight means thicker leather and increased protection on the road. Thicker leather also means you'll pay a little more for the quality. Protection and durability is worth the extra cost when buying leather motorcycle chaps.
