The Kerr Leathers Warranty

Kerr Leathers has a 10 Year unconditional warranty on every aspect of our products, including the stitching, hardware, zippers, pockets, snaps, and everything else on the product. We are proud that all our hardware is made in the USA, the YKK zippers included! Other zippers on jackets will not last and that is why they have short or no warranty.

LEATHER

The type of leather used in the production of garments is crucial to the garment's quality and safety. Kerr Leathers, Inc. uses only top quality hides that are drum tanned and are top grain to insure safety and durability.

Durability

Kerr Leathers products are made with 4, 3-1/2 and 2-1/2 ounce naked leather. Using these high quality, full grain hides, Kerr Leathers products will withstand a lifetime of use and abuse. This is because we double stitch and use only USA made metal zippers.

The Benefits of Drum Tanning

Drum tanning causes the color used in dying to penetrate all the way through the hide. If the leather is scratched, the color remains the same, rather than having white scratches, which is usually found in cheaper imported leathers.

About Naked Leather

All naked leather garments will have naturally occurring markings, blemishes and shadings that create the products unique personality. Because it is a naked hide, it will need to be conditioned with a quality leather conditioner once a year. Do not use conditioners with an alcohol base in it.
