What
are Chilhowee Paper and Electronic gift certificates?
Chilhowee gift certificates come in two flavors: 1) A handsome embossed card
stock version that your postman delivers and 2) an electronic version that is
delivered via e-mail. Both types of gift certificate are redeemable for merchandise
online, by mail or telephone, or at our Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather store in
Grants Pass, Oregon. Chilhowee gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash
or other gift certificates.
How
and when are the gift certificates delivered?
Chilhowee Paper gift certificates are sent to the recipient via U.S.
Postal Service and take between 3 - 7 working days to arrive. Electronic
gift certificates are delivered via e-mail within 24 hours after the order
is processed.
How
do I order a Chilhowee gift certificate?
To order a Chilhowee gift certificate, click on the Gift Certificate button
on our home page. Select the kind of gift certificate you'd like (Paper or e-mail)
and the denomination, provide the sender and recipient names and e-mail addresses,
and add a personal message. Preview the gift certificate then add it to your
cart and checkout. No shipping charges apply to your ELECTRONIC gift certificate
purchase.
How Do I Use a Discount, Credit, or Gift Certificate Code?
It's easy to use your Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather Discount, Credit, or Gift Certificate Code. Here's how:
Online Orders:
· Shop to your heart's content. When you've added everything to your shopping cart and are ready to checkout, click the "Check out" button.
· In Step 1 of the checkout process, just type your code in the "Discount, Credit, or Gift Code" box and then click the "update" button to see your savings.
Telephone Orders:
· Simply call our friendly staff toll free (877-223-1602) and place your order. Be sure to tell the Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather representative that you are using a credit or discount code before they enter your information. They'll take care of the rest!
In Our Retail Store:
· Use your credit or discount code at our retail store (903 NW "F" Street, Grants Pass, Oregon, USA) to purchase any of our products or for a custom order. We'll roll out the red carpet for you!
· Just present your code to the cashier when you check out.

When
does a Chilhowee gift certificate expire?
Chilhowee gift certificates expire 12 months from date of issue.
What
if I Can't find my Gift Certificate?
If the intended recipient of a gift certificate has not received it, we can
help. In the case of e-mail gift certificates, it is possible that the recipient
either accidentally deleted the e-mail or that they are blocking e-mail from
Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather. Users of ISPs such as AOL and Hotmail have the
option of blocking all e-mail messages that originate outside of their domain.
If the gift recipient's e-mail address includes one of these domains, please
contact them first to make sure their e-mail is configured to accept e-mails
from Chilhowee.net.
If you wish for us to reissue a gift certificate that you purchased, but that
has been lost or was not received:
1. Call us toll free (877-223-1602)
2.
Inform the Chilhowee representative that the original gift certificate
was never received.
3. Be prepared to provide the name of the
original purchaser or recipient (and email address).
4.
After we verify that the gift certificate has not been used, the
original gift certificate will be cancelled and a new gift certificate issued.
Please
note: If the gift certificate needs to be sent to a different address, we must
receive this request from the original purchaser of the gift certificate.
The
Fine Print
1. Gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates must be spent
within 12 months from the date of issuance, which is the "spend by"
date included on the gift certificate.
2. Gift certificates can be redeemed through the Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather
Web site, , by telephone (877-223-1602), or in the Chilhowee
Motorcycle Leather retail store (Grants Pass, Oregon) toward the purchase of
products listed in Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather's online and/or printed catalog.
3. Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase gift certificates.
4. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for
a cash refund.
5. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account
and is not transferable. The original expiration date will apply to any unused
balance.
6. If your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you must pay for
the balance with a credit card.
7. Gift certificate cash value is 1/10 of one cent.
8. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. If you have

9. Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather will have the right to close customer accounts
and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained gift certificate
is either redeemed through the Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather Web site or is redeemed
and used to make purchases on the Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather Web site.
10. Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather reserves the right to change these terms and
conditions from time to time in its discretion.
